Hope

“Put your hope in God!” -Psalm 42:5

The essence of this angel stems from the heart of God. The left side of the painting, with the large swirling wing, symbolizes Gods loving arm of protection. The soft greens and yellows, which flow from the top of the angel, spread a message of hope and encouragement to anyone who encounters it. The blue skies tell us of the endless possibilities in life as we pursue dreams. The right side of the painting, with the three swirls, represents the winding roads we travel through life, which eventually lead back to the heart of God. As an artist, I am humbled and blessed by how God uses my paintbrush to create images that give people encouragement. My biggest hope and desire is that God receives the honor and glory for the creations that spill from my paintbrush. In these tumultuous times, it seems fitting that God would pour out this Angel of Hope, as we all could use some extra Hope.

The Angel of Hope was the featured artwork of the TreeHouse organization in 2008, used to help give the teenagers hope in the midst of their journeys. A portion of all Angel of Hope products sales are donated back to TreeHouse.
